He is Risen, Alleluia!
He is Risen, Alleluia!
We are now in the Easter season, a Season of New Life! Death is overcome, new life breaks through the clouds of grief and loss. Jesus is risen, alleluia! In the words of Pope Francis, “Let us lift our eyes to him and ask that the power of his resurrection may roll away the heavy stones that weigh down our souls.”
For the Easter season, Season of New Life provides reflections to help us find our peace-filled “new day” in real-life situations, such as vacations, springtime, weddings, a new job or loss of a job, expecting a child, and more. Or check out the article, “Seven Ways to Celebrate Easter,” on the articles page.
Mother’s Day falls within the Easter season. Are you looking for something for that special woman in your life? My book, Who Me? Full of Grace? is designed to help mothers recognize God’s presence in their day-to-day struggles as a mom: juggling the many demands of parenting, wrangling fighting children, cleaning vomit and diapers, and rocking sleeping children. All hold potential for grace.
Wishing you a blessed and joy-filled Easter!
